Students in the Advanced Level have 6+ years of lessons and/or are completing the 6th level within a piano course.
Completion of a basic music history course, focused on piano composers specifically, will be part of the curriculum as well as technique and advanced theory.
Music from all style periods will be covered. The books required will vary, based on the student. Purchase of all materials needed will be the responsibility of the student.
Practice requirement will be 1-2 hours per day.
A solo recital (of at least 30 minutes in length) will be required for high school seniors.
The cost will be $50 per one-hour lesson.
